Revisiting a Capstone, Refining the Craft.
- "Just Smart Budgeting"
Why I Kept Going
True Balance began as a six-person capstone for my UX certification — built on a tight academic timeline that left good ideas on the table. I kept thinking about what I'd do with more time: a sharper visual system, a more deliberate brand identity, an interface that felt fully considered rather than built to meet a deadline. This page documents that continuation. It's less a UX case study and more a design record — how I took our original research and first draft and built it into something closer to a finished product. The steps matter as much as the outcome: it's a look at how I take a good idea and keep pushing it.

Built With
True Balance began as a collaboration with five other designers — Cammie Loper, Zna Le Grand, Sumeyra Algul, Hannah Vance, and Theresa — across finance, psychology, tech, and design backgrounds. The research, naming, and original wireframe were a full team effort; the revision and continued build you're seeing here is mine.
